My Experience at Vidanova Bank

I had the privilege of working at Vidanova Bank N.V. (formerly SFT Bank N.V.) for over two decades, where I gained extensive experience in the banking industry, particularly in card and payment solutions, e-Banking, and project management. My tenure at the bank, spanning from August 2001 to June 2023, allowed me to grow professionally and contribute significantly to multiple departments and groundbreaking projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

Card Department Representative
I began my journey in the Card Department, managing Visa Credit Cards, Maestro Debit Cards, and Merchant Services. This position honed my skills in customer service, card application processing, account management, and encoding/embossing cards.

Supervisor Roles
I transitioned into leadership roles, supervising the e-Banking, e-Commerce, and Card Services departments. These roles involved overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth credit- and debit-card processing, and managing technical support for e-Banking platforms. I also led a team of five employees, fostering collaboration and excellence.

Project Management Officer (PMO)
In 2019, I assumed the role of PMO, focusing on project implementation and management. One of my notable achievements was successfully launching Vidanova Bank’s mobile banking apps for Android and iOS. This project expanded my expertise in app testing and deployment on global platforms like Google Play Console and iOS App Store Connect.

  I played a pivotal role in transforming Vidanova Bank’s digital banking services, overseeing four major system conversions, including the implementation of Fiserv Digital Access (FDA) and a new Internet- and Mobile Banking app. These projects elevated the bank’s digital offerings, enhancing customer experiences.

  I contributed to developing innovative solutions like new card designs, payment methods, and POS terminals, ensuring Vidanova Bank remained competitive in the ever-evolving financial landscape.
